Thailand Ngau Chap @ Kedai Kopi Ria
Posted by JACQ | Filed under Uncategorized
If you know MultiBake Bakery at Damai, somewhere across the street from Burger King, you would see a coffeeshop named Kedai Kopi Ria. And there, you can find a stall that sells:

Thailand Ngau Chap!

This is how it looks like, regular ngau chap, but with a Thai twist to it! And the taste: think of TomYam style ngau chap! Worth to try for the experience of it! It’s surely something different! If you love TomYam, then you’ll LOVE this ngau chap!

On the same coffeeshop, there’s also another stall that sells mee soup that I also like. The soup base is clear, and yet, the taste are all there! Delicious! It’s either RM4 or Rm4.50 I think..

Lunch @ Grace Point, Sembulan
Posted by JACQ | Filed under Uncategorized
Had a chance to try out the food over at Grace Point, Sembulan this afternoon.
To those of you who doesn’t know where Grace Point is, do you know where this Double Six Monument is in Sembulan?

That is where Grace Point is. And to those of you who still thinks it is called Grace Park, well, it’s not. It has been changed to Grace Point now.
Some surrounding pics of Grace Point Food Court..

The food court is very uniquely shaped (hard for me to explain it here, you have to go there to see it for yourself).
I heard that Sutera Harbour Resort got the best local food vendors in the city to operate within the food court aimed at setting a new benchmark for casual dining centre, and I must say, the place has quite a nice selection of food!
Anyway, this is our drink.. Iced Nescafe, and my 100 Plus. Both are at normal price.

Found out that 2 of the stalls were operated by my relatives! Cool! This is one of them..

The BF wanted to eat Thai food, and I joined him in that idea.
The BF ordered Nasi Goreng Pattaya (Pattaya Fried Rice). Delicious (but spicy)! Reasonable too: RM5.50.

And here’s mine; their lunch set. RM7 per set. Quite reasonable, and as expected from a Thai stall, the fish was quite spicy, but yummy! I had no problem finishing it!

So if you haven’t tried out Grace Point food court, you really should! I heard it’s quite a happening place to dine at night!

Thai Food @ Buccaneer Restaurant, Brunei
Posted by JACQ | Filed under Uncategorized
Was browsing through my Brunei pictures, and I just realised that I have forgotten to post a review on Buccaneer Restaurant!
So here goes..

Buccaneer Restaurant is located in Kuala Belait, and serves Thai food.

Here’s what it looks like inside. Simple but looks nice to me.

These are the VIP rooms.

Each of the VIP rooms had the Sultan of Brunei’s pic together with the Thailand’s King. Here’s one..

And here’s another one..

Here’s a closeup..

Interesting huh..

Okay, now let’s check out the food!
The seafood tom yam was so spicy that it I remembered it here that I started to lose my voice and develop that cough! But it was so spicy, and yet, sweet and delicious, and I couldn’t get enough! Me! Who couldn’t actually eat spicy stuff was craving for this soup! So funny!
The pic on the right is bro in-law’s squid dish..

Sis’ green curry, and my black pepper fish with rice:

If you are planning to travel to Brunei anytime soon, and will be in Kuala Belait, then why not drop by at Buccaneer and have a Thai food experience!
