Yummy Steak @ JJ Western Food

One of my favourite places to eat steak is definitely at JJ Western Food in Damai.

Not only do the food taste delicious (especially with the mushroom sauce), the price is quite reasonable as well.

I had quite a lot of food to eat during tea-time, so by dinnertime, I wasn't that hungry. So I just ordered the Junior set, the Chicken steak, with the mushroom sauce..

The BF ordered the lambchop, with the mushroom sauce as well. Like me, he really loves the mushroom sauce, too.

My brother came along with us, and he ordered the beef steak, with black pepper sauce. According to him, it was delicious too.

So if you're in Damai, and would like to have some steak for dinner, then you should definitely eat at JJ Western Food.

Western Food @ Harris D' Corner/Restoran Eddie

It's been a while since I've had western food, so my partner-in-crime and I went over to Restoran Eddie over at Heritage Plaze in Lintas for our chicken chop and lambchop!

Now this shop is quite confusing, as the shop's name is Restoran Eddie, but the stall's (?) name is is Harris D' Corner. I noticed that they have a new menu now, too: Sirloin & Tenderloin Black Pepper Steak, and Grill Salmon.

Menu on the wall

This is my chicken chop. It's 2 pieces of deep-fried chicken thighs. It's a LOT, I tell you! Only eat this when you're very hungry! Or have a big appetite.

BF's classic lambchop with peppermint sauce. Now I don't know if it's just me or what, but almost every western food outlet I go to, there would have some smell on the lambchop, and it's quite a turnoff for me. And this time around, BF said there were slight smell, too. But he finished the food anyway.

Do any of you experience this strange smell when eating lambchops? It can't be just me, right...?

Steak @ Pirates Of Borneo

Isn't that a cool name, Pirates of Borneo?

The steak aroma affected BF and I so much on Saturday night (we even dreamt about it!), that we've decided to try it out last night.

So, restaurant name: Pirates Of Borneo.

Location: Waterfront.

This is one of the cool places that you can have your meal right beside the sea, along with a view of the Tunku Abdul Rahman parks. This is also one of the places that you can go to for sunset watching.

So this is the restaurant that we went to. You can have an option of sitting inside the restaurant, or you can sit outside and enjoy the view!

One of the obvious attraction on the sea when you're here is this cruise boat. It would park right in front of this particular restaurant and play music loud enough to be heard on the mainland.

It's a beauty, huh!

We then found out that this cruise actually belonged to Pirates of Borneo! We had a chance to chit-chat with the owner about the boat and the cruise packages. To those of you who still doesn't know, Pirates of Borneo have 2 cruise packages: Fun Cruise (for daytime) and Sunset Cruise (for at night). You can read further on the cruise packages when you come to eat at this restaurant!

Ma Baker's Cafe

If you are craving for a chicken or lamb shop in the middle of the afternoon, then you should definitely drop by at Ma Baker's Cafe.

I love the ambience of this cafe; it feels like you're in your kitchen or something! Plus, it's air-conditioned!
