Pork Mee @ Jacs Besthings in Damai

To those of you who just love pork mee like the one at Lintas, then if you haven't already known about this, you can also eat them at Damai. Closer to my home, yeah!

The coffeeshop is called Jacs Besthings and it's located at Damai. The easiest way of describing the place is that it is the block behind the Esso Station, more or less..

I have always preferred my pork mee to be served as a Kon Lo Kway Teow, as I think it's easier to eat and tastier. But that's just my opinion. Added with the pork oil to the food and you'll be wanting second servings!

I've forgotten to ask how much it costs, but it should not be more than RM5. I think it's about the same price as in Kedai Kopi Melanian. Correct me if I'm wrong, though..

So to those of you who lives in Damai, here's another eatery that you can check out!

Brunch @ The Olde Station Kopitiam

Sometimes on weekends, the BF and I would usually hang out at The Olde Station Kopitiam at City Mall, despite having to face the no-parking problem there.

How it looks like inside. Took this pic right after most of the customers have left

This eatery is self service, so you have to go up to the counter and give your order and pay on the spot before they deliver your food.

At that time, my sister ordered the curry laksa set. It was quite spicy (to me especially, since I can't really stand spicy food), but the taste was not bad. Ok lah..

I the nasi lemak set, and I didn't know it would be so spicy! Needless to say, I only took 1/3 of the nasi lemak sauce, and even that I had difficulty of finishing my rice!

But luckily, the set meal came with a drink: either Barley or Chrysanthemum Tea. Finished my drink only halfway throughout my meal; it was that spicy for me! LOL..

I noticed that quite a lot of the patrons there also ordered the Nasi Lemak set meal. If you haven't tried it out, perhaps you should and let me know how it tastes like for you!
