Kampar Ngiu Chap @ Kedai Kopi Onn Kee
Posted by JACQ | Filed under Uncategorized
Say hello to a coffee shop that belongs to my friend: Kedai Kopi Onn Kee, located at Inanam Business Centre (across the road from the fish head meehoon).

This is another branch of the famous Kampar Ngiu Chap. And yes, the Kampar branch were also featured in the newspaper before:

So this is what the kon lo ngiu chap looks like. I just prefer mine to be kon lo, but of course you can order it as a mee soup instead.
You should also take note at this sign on the wall:

To those of you who doesn’t know what it says, it basically means ‘Kedundung Juice’:

It’s perfect for those with cholesterol problems, and a perfect combination to the ngiu chap. A lot of people have come here just for the juice too! And I know there are several other coffee shops that sells this as well, but I find that the juice here is the cheapest; only RM2! But take note that they don’t have this juice all the time; it depends on the season..
So whether you want to try out the delicious Kampar Ngiu Chap, or the healthy cholesterol-lowering kedundung juice, you must give Kedai Kopi Onn Kee a try if you haven’t already done so!

Seafood @ New Gaya Seafood Restaurant
Posted by JACQ | Filed under Uncategorized

I’ve been to this restaurant a lot of times prior to this, but I can’t remember whether I have already blogged about this place or not. So before I forget again, I better post this now.
New Gaya Seafood Restaurant is located in Inanam.
And this time, we didn’t order any meat; all were seafood:

My favourite fish maw soup - Tastes quite nice

The Sabah Veggie (as the non locals call it) or Sayur Manis with garlic - another favourite dish of mine

Steamed prawns, the BF’s favourite

And Buttermilk Baby Lobster - another of the BF’s favourite
Whenever we come to this restaurant, these are what we would usually order. Total price for the food above was around RM86 (for 3 pax). Quite reasonable, wouldn’t you say?

Damai Chicken Wings & Roti Kahwin
Posted by JACQ | Filed under Uncategorized

I just love, LOVE the chicken wings being sold over at Damai. Even when I’ve already eaten my lunch, I still drag the BF out on the weekends just to eat some chicken wings!

Since I was the only one eating, only ordered 2 pieces, as I also ordered the famous Roti Kahwin.
The Chicken Wings costs RM1.50 each, and the roti kahwin costs RM1.20 per set (a set includes the 2 breads put together, then cut in half)

And top it off with a glass of Teh O Ping, and you’ve got a full tummy for the afternoon!

Juice Drinking @ Blu Knight Cafe
Posted by JACQ | Filed under Uncategorized

Blu Knight Cafe.. a place where I used to hang out when I was younger. Do you guys still come to this place?
Anyway, if you live in Damai, and would like to drink some juice and have some tidbits, well, one place to go is this cafe.

The HUGE mug (obviously not mine), and a smaller mug filled with fruit juices. It’s not bad; it’s not too sweet.

I also ordered this pancake to go along with the juice. The pancake was a bit too hard for my liking, but after spreading the ice-cream everywhere, it was better to eat.
Saw that they sell western food as well, but I haven’t tried it out, so I’m not sure what it tastes like.. Will do it next time.

Breakfast @ Pete’s Corner
Posted by JACQ | Filed under Uncategorized

If you would like to have reasonably priced (well to me it’s cheap) American Breakfast (or even Lunch) at Asia City, then you should definitely go to Pete’s Corner. It’s located somewhere near the ASB (?) office.

This is the BF’s breakfast. You can add on the menu, e.g. extra bread, extra sausage, etc. This breakfast costs less than RM5.

And this is mine, with one add-on, the beef bacon. Forgot the exact price, but I know it’s less than RM5 (I think even less than RM4, maybe arond RM3.90?). Looks little to me, but was actually quite full at the end of the meal.
I’ve never had American Breakfast at a coffee shop before, so this was a first for me. Was really pleased that it was reasonably priced too. If you have never eaten at this coffeeshop before, you should really try it out.
