Fish Kon Lo Mee @ Kedai Kopi Seng Fung

Gosh, I didn't realise that I've abandoned this blog for that long! It's not that I haven't been to anymore eateries (LOL) but I just don't have the time to update this blog. That's the result of having too many blogs! Sorry peeps!

Anyways, let's get on to our review for this posting now, shall we?

And this time, it's the fish Kon Lo Mee at Kedai Kopi Seng Fung, located at Sunny Garden.

Now there are 2 famous fish mee eateries there in Sunny Garden, so don't get confused with the 'original' one. This particular eatery is located towards the corner of the block (same block with the original fish mee), so it's hard to miss.

I personally prefer to go to this eatery as compared to the other fish mee eatery (the one located in the middle of the same block) because they prepare the food faster, and they also have fish slice in their dish (the other one doesn't)!

But let's not do anymore comparing now and just continue to view the pics, shall we?

This is the kon lo mee (with mixed stuff inside as seen). You can either choose only fish slice, or fish balls, or everything mixed inside your soup!

And don't ask me why, but both the BF and I very much prefer the taste of the kon lo mee here instead!

I think the regular kon lo mee costs around RM6.50 (correct me if I'm wrong).

Also, you can order this beef tendon dish, though I didn't really like it, as it were a bit on the oily side and the tendons were way too soft.

So if you're in no mood of waiting in line on the 'other' shop, why not give this shop a try instead for their fish mee? Perhaps you'll see me there too! Wink

More On Umai Food

*Continuation of Umai Japanese Restaurant Post*

Here are some more pics of the food we had at Umai just now. I don't know the exact names of the dishes, because I wasn't the one who paid the bill just now..

This is some kind of mushroom sprinkled with garlic

Some kind of fish dish.. argh.. I wish I know more of what everybody had!

This is my grilled salmon. I know for a fact that this is very delicious! Yummy!

And for dessert, we had these:

Mango Delight. Too sweet! And I mean, it's overly crazily sweet! Too bad..

This fruit pancake was delicious, though. I'd order this again the next time I'm here!

Okay, I know this post is useless because I don't have the name, but the restaurant's menu hardly have any pictures of the dishes inside, so here I am, showing you all what some of the dishes looks like!

Chinese Breakfast @ Shikai Restaurant

This is a long overdue post, but hey, better late than never, right? Wink

Anyway, the BF brought me along with some friends to have breakfast at Shikai Restaurant sometime back. This restaurant's located at Asia City Complex. It's hard not to miss because of its oriental decor.

The entrance

The inside decor

The dim sum here is quite delicious; you shouldn't miss this!

You should also try their roast duck rice. The BF said it's one of their specialties? He would order these whenever he eats here!

I can't seem to find the receipt for this restaurant anymore, so I'm afraid I can't put the price up. But it's quite reasonable.

And we found out that there is also a Shikai Restaurant branch in Gadong Brunei as well! Cool! You can read sis's review on the Gadong restaurant on her food blog here!
